Brief bio:
Dr. Boutwell received his Ph.D. from Florida State University. He works primarily behavior genetics, with a particular focus on environmental and psychological risk factors for antisocial and violent behavior in humans.
Full bio:
Dr. Brian Boutwell received his Ph.D. from Florida State University. He specializes in quantitative genetics, with a focus on environmental and psychological risk factors for antisocial and violent behavior. His research interests also include the confluence of public health and criminal justice, and in particular the intersection of health and disease risk factors with criminological outcomes. His work has appeared in a variety of journals including Criminology, Journal of Research in Crime and Delinquency, Crime & Delinquency, Justice Quarterly, Journal of Quantitative Criminology, Developmental Psychology, Psychological Bulletin, Annals of Epidemiology, Environmental Research, and Behavior Genetics among others.
