Brief Bio: Wesley Jennings, Ph.D., is Gillespie Distinguished Scholar, Chair, & Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice & Legal Studies at the University of Mississippi. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Florida, and his teaching and research interests are quantitative methods, longitudinal data analysis, and experimental and quasi-experimental designs.

 

Full Bio: Wesley G. Jennings, Ph.D., is Gillespie Distinguished Scholar, Chair,& Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice & Legal Studies in the School of Applied Sciences and a Faculty Affiliate at the School of Law at the University of Mississippi. He has over 275publications, his h-index is 64(i-index of 177), and he has over 14,000citations to his published work. He has been recognized as the #1 criminologist in the world in previous publications based on his peer-reviewed publication productivity. His primary research interests are quantitative methods, longitudinal data analysis, and experimental and quasi-experimental designs. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Society of Criminology, the American Society of Evidence-Based Policing, and a Lifetime Member of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences and the Southern Criminal Justice Association. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences. Finally, he is a past President of the Southern Criminal Justice Association.
